History of Colorado River Rafting on Display
We wanted to create a place where we could help preserve the history and stories of the early Colorado River runners and provide you with a look at what a trip down the river is like today, showcasing many of the Colorado River rafting companies currently operating today. Our family was one of the early pioneers in rafting the Colorado River through Grand Canyon, so this is a very important part of our history as well. The exhibit showcases not only the various boats and rafts used to conquer todays white water sections of Colorado River, but gives the visitors plenty of additional information. If you've already rafted Colorado River or are thinking about it, the exhibit with the gigantic murals certainly get you in the mood.
